2024 Workshop calendar
workshop & Consultation Daily Schedule
PREREQUISITES - The prerequisite for all workshops is a master’s or doctoral degree in counseling or related field. Additional prerequisites are noted with each workshop description. Please note that prior approval is required for comparable training to be accepted as a prerequisite.
COSTS - $25 per CE hour for group instruction; $45 per CE hour for individual consultation; $10 registration fee per workshop
Two day workshops are $355 for 13 CE hrs. (12 hrs. group + 1 hr. individual + registration fee)
Half-day workshops are $85 for 3 CE hrs. (3 hrs. group + registration fee)
PARTICIPANTS - Two day workshops are limited to 8 participants. Half day workshops are limited to 10 participants.
WORKSHOP DAILY SCHEDULE - Half day workshops are 8:30-11:30 a.m. or 1:00-4:00 p.m. Two day workshops are from 8:30 a.m.-3:45 p.m. - See Daily Workshop & Consultation Schedule for more details. The individual consultation hour for two day workshops will be scheduled following receipt of your registration. Some individual consultation times will be available on the actual workshop days, with additional times on the day following the workshop.
LOCATION - Center for Sand Tray Play, Mesa, Arizona. Specific address will be provided upon registration for a workshop.
SEQUENCING - Levels 1-4 must be taken sequentially, as each level builds upon the knowledge and experience of the previous level. Advanced Special Topic workshops require the prior completion of Levels 1-4, but do not need to be taken in a specific order. Half day special topic workshops prerequisites are noted in each workshop description.
CE Hours - Continuing Education hours are granted according to contact hours. Two day workshops each consist of 13 contact hours - 12 hours of group workshop consisting of experience with building and witnessing sand trays, group process, and direct instruction, plus 1 hour of individual consultation and learning through your own personal sand tray process and/or a professional case consultation. Half day workshops each consist of 3 contact hours of group training.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY - Read Cancellation & Refund Policy before registering for a workshop. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop with fewer than six registered participants.
