       Roban Kubic received a Masters Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University Maryland, a post-graduate Certificate in Pastoral Counseling Supervision from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and extensive post-graduate training in Play Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy.  
        She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor with the Association for Play Therapy (APT).  Roban has been involved with Play Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy since 1996, working with adults, adolescents, and children in both clinical and educational settings.  
        Roban has been teaching professional workshops in play therapy and sand tray therapy, and has been a guest lecturer in graduate counseling classes, both in the Phoenix area and around the country since 2003. She founded the Center for Sand Tray Play in 2007 to provide a local resource in Sand Tray Training to professionals in Arizona.  She is currently the counselor at a PreK-8 elementary school.
